Thank you for your interest in the Junior League!

Our impact area is currently food security, but we work to encourage our members to find projects they are passionate about and present those ideas to the board for approval. If you have seen a need in our community, let’s work together to help fix it!

Past projects have included working with The Martin Center as well as our Kids in the Kitchen Program.  Please check out the following YouTube Videos to learn more about our previous work in Stark County:

Mission Statement

The Junior League of Stark County (JLSC) is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.

The current impact area for JLSC is helping women and children. Members are currently working on a purse project to collect hygiene items and new or gently used purses that will be donated to organizations helping women throughout Stark County. Additionally, we are researching ways to help provide access to person hygiene items for girls.  Period poverty refers to a lack of access to menstrual products, sanitation facilities, and adequate education.
