We are happy to have been able to help young women since 2014 be able to lead projects to help the community!  These future leaders collectively have been able to touch the lives of people at over 17 community organizations, schools, or hospitals.  

2021

  • A group of 5th graders who helped the environment by creating clean up kits to pick up litter around Stark County
  • Build and instal a box for community members to share dog toys and other items
  • Build and install 3 Little Free Libraries to promote literacy and the joy of reading
  • Paint a mural about mental health at the Child and Behavior Health Center’s newest location

2020

  • Katie’s Closet – bins in Canton City School District filled with socks, underwear and shoes for students that need them. 
  • Girls with Pearls – empower 3rd grade girls at Fairless Elementary to be confident young women by teaching them skills to be accomplished leaders in their communities
  • Books for Foster Children and Parents at Pathway Caring for Children

2019

  • Totes of Kindness
  • Jo’s Girls, addressing social aggression in 7th grade girls 

2018

  • Gift bags for patients undergoing spinal fusion surgery for scoliosis 
  • 2 lending libraries in Jackson Park
  • Bed bundles for men at Refuge for Hope 

2017

  • Projects for Alzheimer’s patients at The Landing 
  • Audio-books for the Greentown Intermediate school library 
  • “Sweet Dreams” – 100 Hand decorated pillowcases filled with items for children in foster care

2016

  • Sensory Room at Massillon Boys and Girls Club 
  • Book drive for children in the hospital 

2015

  • An event for middle school students to introduce them to speech and debate, and increase their self-confidence 
  • “Check your Pocket,” a self-esteem and anti-bullying initiative 
  • “Binkies for Babies,” a compassionate project to benefit the families of newborns in the NICU at Aultman Hospital 

2014

  • Garden at YWCA Canton so kids in the childcare program can learn about where fresh, healthy food comes from 
  • Care packages were made for the families at the YWCA family homeless shelter
